I got my birthday package this week! So, of course, we are having Elder Tucker and Fisher over to our place on Tuesday for tacos. Thanks, Mom!!!

I have to start off with Monday! After our preparation time was over we had an excellent lesson with Felix. We set a baptismal date for May 24th with him! He threw out a random date that ended up being a Wednesday, so we might change that. We just don't know what to change it to yet. He is so ready. In fact, we read Ether 12:6 with him the other night and he got a little emotional about it! It was the first verse that actually really hit him! He came to church and stayed for all three hours!

Also, we got an investigator, from a potential, who we got from another potential! It actually worked out really cool. The first “potential” in this string was a guy we met with who is a complete atheist, but we became good friends with him so he brought a friend. That friend wasn't interested but she had a friend who lived with an active Mormon family for a year in Texas! She has now been back from the US for a couple years. She has been preparing a presentation she is doing on Mormons for her school. She reached out to us through the potential to help her out and speak at her presentation. Unfortunately, we are not able to do things like speak at a school presentation so we had to decline her offer. We did invite her to game night. She came, and there we learned that she wants to start coming to church! She said she wants to feel some of the same feelings she used to feel in Texas when she went to church! She came to church and she, like Nikita, stayed for all three hours!

One thing I have been thinking about this week is how do we convert desire into action? How do we qualify for the enabling power for grace? What is often the biggest road block for missionaries trying to qualify for grace? I am pondering about that.
